Rangers squad transfer value revealed as Calvin Bassey price tag skyrockets but Ryan Kent named prize asset

Gio van Bronckhorst will have the Premiership title on his mind this summer with Rangers.

Having reached the Europa League final and lifted the Scottish Cup during his debut campaign, the Dutchman will be looking to build a team to reclaim to league title.

That see plenty of incomings this summer, but sporting director Ross Wilson will be looking to implement the player trading model.

That could see a significant influx of cash coming into the club with the likes of Alfredo Morelos, Ryan Kent and Joe Aribo approaching the final year of their contracts.

Calvin Bassey has also been linked with a move away, with the likes of Aston Villa having to offer a big windfall to tempt Rangers to sell.

The value is based on Transfermarkt data from the squad that ended last season as Scottish Cup winners.

Players who have already been released by the club or have had their loan spell ended, such as Amad DIallo, Aaron Ramsey and Leon Balogun, have been left off the list.

Goalkeeper

Allan McGregor - £450k

Robbie McCrorie - £360k

Jon McLaughlin - £315k

Allan McGregor's contract has expired and there is little doubt that big money would need to be spent to replace the Ibrox icon. Both Jon McLaughlin and Robbie McCrorie will be hoping for their first-team chance next season.

Defenders

Connor Goldson - £7.2m

Filip Helander - £3.15m

Jack Simpson - £900k

Borna Barisic - £5.4m

Calvin Bassey - £900k

James Tavernier - £6.3m

Mateusz Zukowski - £2.25m

Connor Goldson has been handed the biggest price tag after penning a new contract at Ibrox this summer. Skipper James Tavernier has also earned a bumper valuation after ending the campaign as the top scorer in the Europa League. Calvin Bassey was handed a £900k valuation at the start of last season, and it shows his rise that Rangers will demand £25million to sell this summer.

Midfielders

James Sands - £3.6m

Joe Aribo - £9m

Glen Kamara - £5.4m

John Lundstram - £4.95m

(SNS Group)

Ryan Jack - £3.15m

Scott Arfield - £1.44m

Stephen Kelly - £360k

Steven Davis - £900k

Ianis Hagi - £6.3m

Ryan Kent - £12.6m

Scott Wright - £900k

Glenn Middleton - £450k

Jake Hastie - £225k

Ryan Kent appears to be Rangers' prize asset this summer according to the analysis, with Joe Aribo coming in a close second after his 70-game season. The likes of Jake Hastie and Glenn Middleton could be used to recoup some cash after struggling to make the breakthrough at Ibrox.

Strikers

Alfredo Morelos - £11.7m

Kemar Roofe - £3.6m

Fashion Sakala - £3.6m

Fans will be desperate to see Alfredo Morelos remain at the club but with the Colombian approaching the final year of his contract a big decision could be on the cards for Gio van Bronckhorst and sporting director Ross Wilson. The figures show that the club would be set for a big fee is he does leave the Premiership.

Total market value - £95.4m
