Kemar Roofe was the hero the last time Rangers travelled across the M8.
The striker came off the bench to net the last-gap penalty winner against Hibs.
But the former Leeds United and Anderlecht man, who started against Lyon in midweek, is a doubt for Sunday’s clash against Hearts in Edinburgh.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst will make a late call on Roofe’s inclusion in the squad for the Tynecastle trip.
But the Dutchman at least welcomes back Alfredo Morelos and Fashion Sakala who were walking Europe League suspension tightropes and not worth risking in France.
Ryan Jack still isn’t available as fears grow over his latest injury set-back but Van Bronckhorst will be hoping it isn’t a prolonged absence.
The Light Blues boss said: “Ryan is still out and we have to assess Kemar Roofe. He is a doubt as well for Sunday.
“I don’t know if it is the same injury (for Jack). We had a moment in the last training session before Lyon where he went off the pitch with a problem so we are still diagnosing the problem.
“Once we know more we will say but so far, he will not be available for Sunday. We don’t have anybody (else) back from injury.
“We have Morelos and Sakala back from the game against Lyon.”
