Rangers squad revealed as Steven Gerrard's demand set to alter starting XI

Rangers have received a double injury boost ahead of their Premier Sports Cup quarter-final clash with Livingston at Ibrox.

Both Ianis Hagi and Nathan Patterson are available again as Steven Gerrard has options as he looks to find a way past David Martindale's side who are basking in the glow of their 1-0 win over Celtic.

Rangers' jam-packed fixture list means changes are likely but the Ibrox boss was enthused by much of his side's display despite the 1-1 draw with Motherwell.

But same "movie" he was watching as his side failed to capitalise on their first half domination against the Steelmen.

And Gerrard noted on Sunday that his team must mix up their attacks by finding their way through the heart of opponents alongside going down the channels.

That sentiment was echoed by Gary McAllister on Tuesday and their desire to turn up the attacking heat could alter the starting XI. Could Joe Aribo drop deeper and allow an extra attacking player to start?

McAllister said: "Ianis is fine. He trained and looked pretty sharp, but Ryan is still missing.

"The positive would be that Nathan, who's been nursing that little ankle knock since being away with the national team, has trained and looked sharp this morning.

"He will come into contention, along with a few others.

"Jacko is still missing from the training. He's still working to get back to fitness."
