Rangers squad revealed as Scott Wright looks to turn 'next level' prediction into reality against Hibs

James Tavernier and Ryan Jack remain out for Rangers. Defender Niko Katic (knee) remains a long-term absentee.

But there could be a chance for Scott Wright to impress after his eye-catching display in the 4-0 win over Cove Rangers in the Scottish Cup third round.

Manager Steven Gerrard has challenged the former Aberdeen man to "go up a level" to back up his bright start in Light Blue.

Ryan Kent will be chomping at the bit to return to the starting XI but perhaps both men could play with Wright adept on playing either side of a main striker.

That will likely be Alfredo Morelos despite Jermain Defoe and Kemar Roofe both finding the back of the net against the League Two title challengers.

Hibs’ Steven Bradley is still struggling with a thigh injury. loanee Jamie Murphy is out with a recurring hamstring injury but would be unable to play against his parent club. Sean Mackie remains out (thigh).
