The most notable Rangers returnee for the champions’ trip to Perth will be manager Steven Gerrard himself as he gets set to take his place back in the dug-out.
Gerrard was absent for the Europa League trip to Armenia and clash against Celtic due to Covid.
And just as the ex-England and Liverpool captain prepares to take his place back in the dressing room he has lost another key man to the virus - Ianis Hagi.
The Romanian tested positive while on international duty and is missing along with long term absentee Ryan Jack and summer signing Nnamdi Ofoborh.
However, the international break has at least helped Gerrard get others back who, like the boss himself, were ruled out with Covid.
Goalkeepers Allan McGregor and Jon McLaughlin are available again, although stand-in Robby McCrorie earned huge praise for his displays.
Skipper James Tavernier and Calvin Bassey can feature again and a late decision will be made on Nathan Patterson, who featured in Armenia but not against the Hoops after it was later discovered he was a close contact.
Patterson produced an impressive display for Scotland in their win over Moldova last week before suffering an injury and Gerrard will assess him before naming his team.
Rangers fans could also catch a first glimpse of Juninho Bacuna since his signing from Huddersfield Town last month.
