Rangers squad revealed as James Tavernier call remains Celtic focus but another Steven Gerrard decision is made for him

Question marks still remain over Rangers captain James Tavernier's availability for Sunday afternoon's Scottish Cup derby clash against Celtic.

The Ibrox captain has been missing since the end of February when he sustained a knee injury against Royal Antwerp in the Europa League.

But he's back in full contact training now after two months on the sidelines and manager Steven Gerrard insisted he'd assess him over the weekend to judge if he's ready to be reintroduced from the off against their great rivals.

Ryan Jack meanwhile has been ruled out for the remainder of the season and Euro 2020 while Nikola Katic is still a long-term absentee.

Leon Balogun is also likely to miss the clash as Gerrard insisted he will be out for "a few weeks" after a calf problem arose last weekend.

Filip Helander is almost certain to take his place in defence as he did in the win over Hibs, while youngster Nathan Patterson could start his first derby if Tavernier is unable to return in full.
