Rangers squad revealed as George Edmundson and Jordan Jones finally come in from cold for Hibs clash

Rangers will be without Ryan Jack once again as Hibs visit Ibrox on Boxing Day.

The Light Blues midfielder had a target of this weekend to complete his return from injury but the match against Jack Ross' men will come too soon.

George Edmundson and Jordan Jones have completed their seven-game ban for flouting virus regulations, however long-term absentee Nikola Katic remains out of action while Leon Balogun has recovered from a concussion and was fit enough for the bench on Wednesday.

Manager Steven Gerrard noted Romanian playmaker Ianis Hagi "looked tired" towards the end of Rangers ' win over St Johnstone and he could be rotated.

Meanwhile, the Hibees are likely to be without first-choice keeper Ofir Marciano, who had to be substituted in Wednesday night's win over St Mirren.

QPR loanee Dillon Barnes replaced him and Ross insists he has no problem throwing the young shot-stopper in at the deep end at Ibrox.

Striker Christian Doidge is suspended after picking up a late red card against the Buddies, joining Stevie Mallan (knee), Sean Mackie (thigh), Jamie Murphy (hamstring) and Scott Allan (illness) on the sidelines.

Kyle Magennis is also doubtful after suffering a recurrence of his recent hamstring issues against his former side.
