Rangers squad revealed as Allan McGregor returns for Kilmarnock clash

Rangers will have Allan McGregor available as the veteran goalkeeper returns to face Kilmarnock.

The 38-year-old hasn't played since the opening day win over Aberdeen, with new signing Jon McLaughlin deputising.

But Steven Gerrard will have his number 1 available to face Killie on Saturday afternoon.

Rangers are looking to get back on track after a 0-0 draw at Livingston last time out ended their perfect start to the Premiership season.

Leon Balogun (quad) and Joe Aribo (ankle) remain out but could feature against Hamilton next week while Jermain Defoe (hamstring) is unlikely to be ready for a return until next month.

Centre-back Nikola Katic is a long-term absentee after a cruciate ligament injury in pre-season.

Killie will be without Ross Millen, who was sent off in the defeat to St Johnstone last Saturday.

Goalkeeper Jake Eastwood is the only other notable absentee, with Alex Dyer otherwise having a full squad to choose from.

Rangers squad: McGregor, Tavernier, Bassey, Edmundson, Helander, Goldson, Hagi, Jack, Davis, Itten, Firth, Kent, Murphy, Patterson, Kamara, Morelos, Barker, Jones, Stewart, Roofe, Kennedy, Barisic, McLaughlin, Mayo, Barjonas, Arfield, Middleton
