Rangers smash two Scottish Euro records as Neil McCann tips 'intimidators' to become Invincibles

Rangers have made Scottish football history en route to their rousing march to the Europa League last 32.

Steven Gerrard 's side have become the first side from these shores to ever navigate a full six-game group stage campaign without defeat.

A host of sides have come close but the Ibrox class of '20 are the first to accomplish the impressive feat.

And Rangers have finished with 14 points and that's another Scottish record that is one point better than the total the Hoops managed last season as they finished top of their group.

Gerrard is basking in the glow of another impressive campaign as his side defeated Standard Liege and Lech Poznan home and away and earned two draws with Benfica.

And that's the first time Rangers have ever won a six-team group stage in 10 attempts with Paul Le Guen's triumph coming in the old four-game format.

Former Ibrox star Neil McCann is convinced the current Rangers side are capable of replicating Brendan Rodgers' Celtic side and go a full season undefeated in Scotland.

He said: "They are going to take some stopping domestically.

"Absolutely (think they can go undefeated), I think they are creating a fear factor, they are a really intimidating side to play against, with how the they function."
