Rangers sign Liverpool and Manchester United trialist from Ross County

Rangers have secured the signing of Ross County youngster James Graham.

The 16-year-old midfielder has joined for £45,000, signing a three-year deal with the Ibrox club.

He follows Ianis Hagi, Calvin Bassey and Jon McLaughlin in signing up for Steven Gerrard's side this summer.

As reported by Record Sport, Graham had trials with both Liverpool and Manchester United last year, and was being tracked by a number of English clubs, including Wolves.

Graham will join the Rangers academy squad.

Gerrard, meanwhile, has expressed his frustration with non-contact training.

As reported in The Guardian, he said: “You have got to understand the situation, of course you have. But we need to try and get back to normality as quickly as possible.

"The season is going to go ahead when we are told it will go ahead. We need to get back to full-contact training as quickly as we can. We will fully prepare the players for hopefully a 60-game season.

"If we continue to go non-contact for a month longer I think it could have an effect on having the players fully prepared for the beginning of August."
