Motherwell goalkeeper Liam Kelly delivered a "not good enough" verdict after falling to the biggest defeat of his career in their clash with Rangers.
The Steelmen's No.1 shipped six goals for the first time in his professional career, which spans spells at East Fife, Livingston and QPR, as rampant Rangers inflicted a 6-1 defeat in Sunday's Scottish Premiership clash.
Kelly's side had taken the lead at Fir Park, but two goals in the final three minutes of the first half for the visitors sparked an impressive comeback that kept 'Well seventh in the Premiership after four defeats in their last five outings.
And Kelly, who came through the youth ranks at Ibrox, said: "It's so hard to take, me losing six goals as a goalkeeper.
"I can only focus on myself - and it's not good enough.
"I would have liked to have affected the goals more, but I don't really know if I could have done anything differently to stop them.
"We were in the game right before half-time, but we lost two quick-fire goals and we never really recovered.
"I still thought we were in the game after half-time but when we got a man sent off it was game over.
"I think with the scoreline finishing 6-1 [the two quick goals] it obviously did [knock the stuffing out of the players].
"We needed to stay in the game longer, but we've just lost 6-1. It's easy to come out and say this and that, but the bottom line is it's not good enough and we need to try and improve."
In the Steelmen's previous two encounters, they pulled off 1-1 draws with Steven Gerrard's side.
But this was Motherwell's biggest annihilation since a 7-1 defeat in November 2018 at Ibrox.
Kelly added: "There's no positive at all we can take from that.
"We've shown we can play against them before. In the two games I've played against them previously we've drawn 1-1 in both.
"I'm well aware that when they are at their best they are very difficult to stop, but from our point of view it isn't good enough."
