Rangers shirt gaffe leads to Celtic fans dig from Clive Tyldesley

Clive Tyldesley might not have been commentating on Rangers matches for long, but he's already picked up on the sort of behaviour that occurs on social media in Glasgow.

Much of the discussion over the quality of Rangers kit-maker Castore's product over the last 48 hours has occurred among Celtic fans, with Twitter and messageboards full of images and screenshots.

It's been a similar story this afternoon, with Rangers TV cameras picking up the word "ROFFE" on the back of new signing Kemar Roofe's shirt.

"That might be on one or two East End fan sites by the end of the day” claimed Tyldesley.

"Jimmy Bell won't be happy" said co-commentator Kevin Thomson, referring to the long-serving Ibrox kitman. Tyldesley added: "I mean, it's five letters. It's not even an anagram."

Roofe had given Rangers the lead in today's match against Kilmarnock at Ibrox.

It's not the first time Tyldesley has had a dig since beginning his stint as commentator for Steven Gerrard's club.

Speaking towards the end of Rangers' 3-0 win over St Johnstone earlier this month, Tyldesley said: "If the powers that be decide to settle this season now on average points per game, will they give it to Rangers?".
