Rangers share training video as players enjoy handball session ahead of Bayer Leverkusen clash

Rangers have shared footage from today's open training session ahead of their Europa League last-16 clash with Bayer Leverkusen.

Steven Gerrard and his coaching staff have been putting players through their paces ahead of the second leg in Germany, with Rangers facing an uphill battle to reverse a 3-1 deficit.

Top stars such as Alfredo Morelos, Ryan Kent and captain James Tavernier were involved as the players got to work.

However it wasn't just their footwork they were honing – a pretty intense-looking handball session was on the go too.

New recruits Kemar Roofe and Cedric Itten weren't involved and they'll meet up with their new teammates when they return to Glasgow after tomorrow's match. Both men could be available for this weekend's visit of St Mirren.

You can see what the squad have been up to in the tweet below.
