And the Ibrox club shared a video on social media showing Steven Gerrard and his coaching staff putting first-team stars such as James Tavernier, Ryan Jack and Ianis Hagi through their paces at their Auchenhowie base.
Players can be seen working on passing and shooting drills before playing what appear to be small-sided games.

Jamie Murphy is among those heavily involved. He returned to the club after his loan-spell at Burton Albion ended earlier this summer.
And a number of fans appeared to be impressed with the flashes of ability they saw from the wide man.
