Steven Gerrard admits it's now up to the Rangers board to decide where Alfredo Morelos ' fine money will go.
The Ibrox boss has docked the striker a week's wages following his red card against Celtic and earlier insisted the cash should go to the supporters who travelled to the Parkhead defeat.
The 29-goal forward was shown a straight red for swinging an arm at the Hoops captain during the first half of his side's 2-1 Premiership loss.
Morelos has now been sent off five times this season but his manager has stated the Colombian retains his full backing.

Gerrard said: "He has shown remorse and accepted the punishment I have given him.
"We spoke to his representation as well and everyone is on the same page.
"Now it is just a decision for the club to decide where the fine goes to but Alfredo has accepted, shown remorse and apologised."
Morelos issued a public apology on social media on Monday and vowed he would never let the club down again.
Rangers star Alfredo Morelos must have 'long look in the mirror' warns Steven Gerrard
The 22-year-old now faces a four match ban, however Gerrard believes he's done the right thing by publicly fronting up for his behaviour.
The Rangers manager added: "I think he made that public himself which is the right thing to do and we draw a line under it.
"Moving forward we hope Alfredo learns the hard way and we wait now for him to return to help us in the final push."
