Former Czech international Jan Rajnoch has tipped Jablonec to pile on the misery for Rangers this week.

Rangers face the Czech side in the first leg of the play-offs for the Europa Conference League at Ibrox on Thursday.

New Rangers boss Derek McInnes has made a disappointing start to his tenure after failing to register a win in his opening four games.

And former Bundesliga defender turned TV pundit Rajnoch believes it could get even worse for Rangers.

He said: "I see big name opponents, but that doesn't mean that I don't trust Jablonec. On the contrary.

"Jablonec's football is worth watching. They have players of the ideal age.

"This will be an interesting tie against Rangers.

"Rangers are not what they used to be. But they are still Rangers with a full Ibrox Park.

"But if Jablonec can sell out their stadium for the second leg, then we can expect a surprising result.

"I really believe in Jablonec because they have a very experienced team and are in excellent form.

"Rangers could be surprised.

"The Czech League has improved and this includes the rise of so-called lesser teams like Jablonec."

Meanwhile, Jablonec have signed Cameroonian winger Saidou Alioum from IFK Gothenburg, but he won't be eligible to play against Rangers as he has already played in the Europa Conference League this season.
