Rangers sent Lech Poznan gung-ho message as Poles promise to test formidable defensive record

Lubomir Satka insists Lech Poznan will look to take the game to Rangers when they visit Ibrox on Thursday.

The Ekstraklasa runners-up have had a difficult start to the domestic season and currently lie 10th after a draw with Cracovia on Sunday.

They were thrashed 4-2 at home by Benfica in their Europa League opener, but that won't see them clam up against Rangers, with Satka declaring they only know one way to play.

The Slovak centre-back said said: "We know the opponent that awaits us is in very good form.

"They haven't lost in the league and have only conceded three goals.

"It'll be a very different game from a physical point of view, so in that regard it will be a very challenging clash.

"We have nothing to change. We have our style - good, attacking football.

"We don't really have the players to defend for the whole game or play long balls.

"Our midfielders wouldn't be happy to be told they were only to run and fight."

Rangers are yet to lose in any competition this season, with the loss to Bayer Leverkusen coming as part of the 2019-20 Europa League campaign.

Steven Gerrard 's side took a 2-0 win away at Standard Liege to sit level on points with Benfica at the top of the group.
