Rangers have ruled out the possibility of the club making a move for three rumoured January transfer targets.
The Light Blues have been linked with Thomas Robert, Ben Davies and Kyle Joseph during the window, but there is no interest in any of players.
A report suggested this week Rangers were prepared to offer a pre-contact to Preston defender Davies, but there has been no approach from Steven Gerrard and, as it stands, there won't be.
Robert is another name who has cropped up after impressing for Airdrie, but he is not among the targets Rangers are currently looking at.
Wigan rising star Joseph, who has also been linked with a move to Celtic and Spurs, was another potential candidate for an Ibrox switch, but there is nothing in that report either.
Rangers are not planning any big moves before the end of the month especially with their 21 point lead at the top of the Premiership.
Aberdeen Scott Wright is one who they are keen on bringing to Ibrox, however, as Gerrard alerted Derek McInnes the club would offer the midfielder a pre-contract.
The Dons are open to the idea of selling him this month so they don't lose him for free at the end of the season, but at the moment, there has been no progress on a deal being agreed.
