Rangers recall on the cards for loan star, as English clubs close in

Rangers are reportedly set to recall Josh McPake from Morecambe... and send him elsewhere down south.

A host of clubs are said to be interested in taking the Coatbridge-born Scotland under-21 cap on loan for the second half of this season, including Tranmere Rovers, Salford City and Barrow.

Winger McPake is currently at Morecambe, under former Motherwell boss Stephen Robinson, but has had his spell curtailed by an injury sustained during training.

Motherwell and Ross County are also long-term admirers of McPake, and Rangers are so keen to get him back in first-team action that they are set to invoke a recall clause in January.
