Rangers prodigy Nathan Young-Coombes on the one thing that sets Ibrox club apart from Chelsea

Rangers youngster Nathan Young-Coombes insists there's greater pride taken in the Ibrox club than he experienced at Chelsea .

The English teenager spent time in the Blues' youth setup before making the switch to Scotland in February this year.

He immediately impressed in a Rangers shirt, starring for the U-17s in their historic Al Kass Cup win days after signing.

Young Coombes was put on the spot during a Twitter Q&A on Rangers' youth development account and answered a number of questions from fans.

The forward paid the club a huge compliment by revealing there's been no dip in standards since his move from London.

Asked about the major differences between the two, he replied: "There are not many differences.

"The professionalism and quality is just the same here as at Chelsea.

My team mates, coaches and older boys have made me feel welcome and I can see a pride in this club whereas that doesn’t really happen down south."

Having Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard as boss has also inspired Young-Coombes to work harder.

The 16-year-old hopes to soak up as much knowledge as he can from the former England captain.

He added: "Having Steven Gerrard here is an unbelievable opportunity - with all of his knowledge and wisdom I can only hope to get better."

And his dream five-a-side line-up from the current Rangers first-team?

Allan McGregor, Connor Goldson, Ross McCrorie, Ryan Kent and Jermain Defoe.
