Rangers player ratings v Willem II as Ryan Kent shines in big Europa League victory

Here are your Rangers player ratings for the 4-0 victory over Willem II in the Europa League third qualifying round.

Allan McGregor

The Rangers keeper made a number of big saves throughout the evening. More than justified his return to the team. His second half stop to deny Saglam, and his earlier save to stop Saddiki were both outstanding. 8

Borna Barisic

Not his best game this season, but still provided a few interesting moments going forward. In general his crossing was slightly off. He found it difficult dealing with Saddiki, and was booked for a foul on the Willem II attacker early on. Subbed for Bassey in the latter stages. 6

Connor Goldson

Such an important player for Rangers and showed his ability in both boxes, winning a number of important headers and getting on the scorsheet himself. 7

Filip Helander

Like Goldson, got himself on the scoresheet and ultimately it's another clean sheet. Gave up a few decent chances but didn't do too much wrong. 6

James Tavernier

Another good showing from the Rangers skipper, and he'll have been delighted to put his penalty woes of a year ago behind him to net from the spot. 7

Steven Davis

One of Rangers' better performers, and always used the ball smartly in the midfield. Coped well with the fast pace of the game, and regularly set the attacking players free with clever passes. 8

Scott Arfield

Use of the ball could've been better at times, but he was everywhere. Played with so much energy, and needed to given the pace this match was played at. A key cog in that Rangers midfield. 7

Glen Kamara

Showed some neat touches on the ball, and like Arfield put in a huge shift in the middle of the park. Understated, but barely put a foot wrong. 7

Ianis Hagi

Started slowly but grew into the game. Linked well with Kent in the second half, and seemed to thrive given the amount of space he was afforded. Poor miss with a few minutes to go, and should've scored Rangers' fifth. 6

Ryan Kent

The best player on the park by some distance. Was on a different level. Involved in the opening three goals – winning the penalty for the first, scoring the second and then creating the third. Top class. 9

Alfredo Morelos

Looks to be getting sharper. Some impressive hold-up play to bring team-mates into the game, and win clever fouls off the Willem II defenders. 7
