Rangers player ratings v St Mirren as Sakala puts marker down to Kent and clinical Colak strikes

Rangers swept aside St Mirren in a comfortable 4-0 win at Ibrox.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst made a shock decision to bench Ryan Kent as he freshened up the Light Blues attack with the additions of Fashion Sakala Jr and Rabbi Matondo. Matondo along with other wing star Sakala put in a high energy display as Rangers ran out easy winners. But it was Antonio Colak who grabbed the headlines again with the Croatian marksman scoring in just the opening minutes after he reacted to a stunning Barisic effort which struck the post. James Tavernier scored from the spot and Sakala finished things off late on.

Ben Davies continued his fine from alongside Connor Goldson at the back as the pair put in a solid display earning their second league clean sheet in a row. Reinforcements came in the second half with Kent given minutes alongside Leon King as Van Bronckhorst kept one eye on Wednesday's crucial Champions League return clash as Liverpool head to Ibrox. Here is how we rated Rangers players in todays win.
