Rangers player ratings as Ryan Kent puts in masterclass to keep Ibrox side on top

Champions Rangers continued their incredible league season by dominating Celtic and running out 4-1 winners at Ibrox.

Steven Gerrard will have been delighted with the performance from his side and especially with Ryan Kent, who put in a stunning man of the match performance.

He turned Celtic players inside out and the only disappointment will have been he didn't get himself on the scoresheet during the 90 minutes.

The Ibrox men were down to the barebones with injuries and suspensions and even finished with Joe Aribo at left back but you wouldn't have thought it watching this game.

Here's how the players rated.

Allan McGregor

Made a stunning save from Moi Elyounoussi shortly before Rangers opened the scoring. A much quieter second half though. 8

James Tavernier

Put some tremendous balls into the box as he made his return to Old Firm action. Another impressive showing from the right back. 8

Connor Goldson

Celtic had a few chances but for most of the match, Goldson had it as easy as the rest of the season. Another comfortable showing from the Rangers rock. 7

Jack Simpson

A lot of pressure on him today and he stood up to it. Got a harsh booking and maybe should have done better at the goal but overall it was a strong showing from him. 7

Borna Barisic

His cross for Kemar Roofe's second goal was simply sensational and he put a few more great balls in. Picked up a knock late on and will be a worry for the Euros. 8

Steven Davis

Once again an absolute class act in the middle of the park. Made a couple of important tackles in the first half and controlled the tempo of the game. 8

Glen Kamara

Started with a few dodgy bits of play but grew into the game and was an important part of the Rangers performance. 7

Joe Aribo

He's full of tricks in the middle of the park and put in a brilliant showing alongside Davis and Kamara to control the tempo of the game. 7

Ryan Kent

There's not many words you can say about him but simply sensational. He ripped Celtic apart and was a constant thorn in the side of the Celtic defence. The best player on the pitch. 9

Kemar Roofe

Has had some critics recently but was at his best with a great showing at Ibrox and got two brilliant goals. His second in particular was a special one. 8

Alfredo Morelos

It took him a long time to get his first goal in a derby and he followed it up quite quickly. It was brilliant from the Colombian and he really showed his ability. 8

Subs

Scott Wright

Didn't get much opportunity to stretch his legs during that cameo. 3

Ianis Hagi

On for the final 10 minutes and played a big part in Jermain Defoe's goal. 4

Jermain Defoe

Looked hungry as soon as he came on and scored a brilliant fourth goal. It might be his last Old Firm game and what a way to sign off. 6
