Massive night, coming in for James Tavernier and making only his second top team start and he did a fine job. Kept it simple and didn’t attack as much as the skipper but was solid and did get in a couple of good crosses - 7

Mr Reliable was captain for the night and glued the defence together, winning his headers when needed and starting play from the back. Kept dangerman Ishak quiet - 7

Has been operating on the fringes of late but given an opportunity to shine as part of a three-pronged attack and was unlucky not to score with deflected shot before nodding home the second goal - 7

The striker hasn’t had much game time but this was a big chance to lead the line and he more than took his opportunity with a sensational strike for the opening goal and worked tirelessly up front - 8
