It was a game that few of us, enraptured by it's mayhem, will forget in a hurry and you'd imagine the same will apply for those who took part.
Rangers showed real resolve and character to bounce back from going behind twice to eventfully win a tumultuous game 4-3.
There were heroes all over the pitch from Allan McGregor in goal, Borna Barisic for his two penalties and Ryan Kent for a defining substitute appearance that belied his pre-match billing as not fully fit.
But it was Alfredo Morelos whose performance stood out most.
He may not have scored but he led the line with the ferocity that marks him out, almost single-handedly keeping the three Antwerp defenders occupied.
Here's how the players rated on a famous night for the men from Govan.
Allan McGregor
Conceded three but had no chance with the goals and not much to do in between times. Assured any time he had to collect and keen to get the ball out and moving forward again and came up with a huge save late on. 8
James Tavernier
It was a huge blow losing the skipper inside the opening 25 minutes and the worry will be how long he’s out for. He started brightly as usual, was an early threat and then a big miss. 4
Connor Goldson

It was a bonkers night but the big defender just about kept his cool. His use of long diagonal balls was terrific and he managed to make several key interventions when the Belgians threatened. 7
Filip Helander
There were a couple of moments that causes a sweat but the Swede was another one who dug deep when he had to. He didn’t have much threat to deal with for long spells but was crucial in a crazy closing spell. 7
Borna Barisic
Briliantly kept his cool to convert two penalties. Comfortable on the ball as usual and his delivery was pin point when he ventured in to the final third. Was guilty of switching off for a second at the set piece for the leveller but he’ll be forgiven. 8
Steven Davis

The penalty award against him looked harsh but he was composed on the ball and made the midfield tick for most of the night. Will be wondering how he wasn’t on the winning side. 7
Glenn Kamara
Skinned his man with a moment of skill in the first half and was a class act any time he got on the ball. had to fill in a number of roles as Rangers were forced to reshuffle on a few occasions. 7
Scott Arfield
Another one that looked rusty at first but grew in to the game. He was the one making the probing passes and looking to get up alongside the attackers despite his role changing amid the injuries. 7
Joe Aribo
The cool, composed finish for the opener summed up the attacker’s display. He’s made the seamless step up to European level and this was another assured performance with a lot of selfless work defending after the Tavernier injury. 7
Kemar Roofe

Looked well short of match sharpness but still caused problems with his movement and hold up play. Got in behind to tempt the keeper from his line in the build up to Aribo’s goal before pulling up and being replaced at the break. 5
Alfredo Morelos
Unlucky not to score but absolutely vital to this Rangers performance. He chased an pressurised defenders, had a key role in creating the opener when he harassed the keeper, and then won the penalty for the second and teed up the third. 9
Subs:
Leon Balogun (for Tavernier 25)
A steady presence to settle the Gers backline after the loss of the captain. 6
Ryan Kent (for Roofe 45)
Was nursing a knock on the bench but made a blistering impact when he came on with a sensational third goal. 8
Ryan Jack (for Kamara 74)
Helped Rangers keep a grip when the game threatened to get chaotic. 6
Ianis Hagi (Aribo 74)
Posed a real threat when Rangers went for it at 3-2 down and nearly got on the scoresheet. 6
Not used: McLaughlin; Simpson; Wright; Stewart; Itten.
