Rangers player ratings as Alfredo Morelos misfires but Robby McCrorie equips himself well

There were chances for Rangers to make it a much more comfortable night in the Armenian heat.

But they didn't need to take them in the end after a 0-0 draw with Alashkert saw them through to the group stages of the Europa League.

Alfredo Morelos was the main culprit although Joe Aribo was unlucky to hit the woodwork twice against the ten men.

Here's how the Gers rated out of ten.

Robby McCrorie: Not much to do but dealt with the occasion well. 7

Nathan Patterson: Some good crosses into the box, one in particular that Morelos wasted. 7

Connor Goldson: Survived a first half booking that came about due to lack of concentration. 6

Filip Helander: Some good position late on meant McCrorie wasn't called upon to make saves. 7

Borna Barisic: Still doesn't look up to speed and did. have his best night. 6

Glen Kamara: His absence has been felt in recent games and did his usual diligent job. 7

Steven Davis: One good second half cross for Hagi. 6

Scott Arfield: Set up Morelos early on but faded as the game went on. 6

Joe Aribo: Unlucky to hit the post and the bar. Two goals on another night. 7

Ianis Hagi: Quiet night for the Romanian. Should have done better with a second half header. 6

Alfredo Morelos: Bad day at the office for the Colombian. Well off it in front of goal. 5

Cedric Itten: Went close soon after coming on for Hagi. 5
