Rangers player of the year award winners in full as Allan McGregor earns top gong

Club icon Allan McGregor has been named Rangers ' Player of the Year at their annual awards night.

The Ibrox club continued their trophy day celebrations as they handed out their top awards just hours after lifting the title.

And 39-year-old McGregor claimed the award after helping the champions to a record breaking low of goals conceded in the Premiership, and a historic 26 clean sheets this term.

Steven Gerrard also made his selection for Player of the Year as he selected defensive mainstay Connor Goldson for an award.

Romanian playmaker Ianis Hagi also picked up silverware as he scooped the Young Player of the Year award.

Skipper James Tavernier was voted by his team-mates as the Player's Player of the Year and was also recognised as top scorer after netting 19 time in all competitions.

Kemar Roofe was handed the Goal of the Season award for his wonder strike against Standard Liege from inside his own half.

Wing-back Nathan Patterson marked his breakthrough campaign by scooping the Academy Player of the Year award.
