Rangers must do everything to get Ryan Kent back as he's gone from £12m to £5m - Hotline

Ryan Kent's cryptic biblical message on Twitter had both sides of the Glasgow divide searching for some sort of divine inspiration.

Kent is unhappy at being denied another loan move.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp demanded that he be sold rather than punted on loan again.

First up was James Robertson, Dennistoun, who said: "Kent's valuation has gone from £12million to £5m in the space of two weeks.

"The player might want to ask God what his true price is."

Bluenose Ian Semple, Ayr, said: " Rangers somehow have to try to get Kent back to the club before the window shuts.

"He is the final piece in Steven Gerrard's jigsaw."

Hoops fan James Joyce, Royston, said: " Celtic should splash out  £5m on Kent.

"It would annoy Rangers no end and Kent is the kind of player who could come in and make his presence felt in the Celtic team.

"The boy possesses real talent."

John Henderson, Wishaw, said: "One team in Scotland can afford to buy Kent and it is not Rangers.

"Celtic should make a statement of intent by nicking him from under Rangers' noses."

Ian Bishop, Blantyre, said: "If Kent reads the big book then the Bible also states in the 10 commandments 'thou shalt not cover thy neighbours goods'.

"I think Celtic should rip this up when it comes to buying Kent.

"Rangers want Kent but Celtic should take him.

"Kent could well be the difference is securing nine-in-a-row."

The fallout from last weekend's Premiership fixtures continued unabated as both Celtic and Rangers fans went at it hammer and tongs.

Already it is shaping up to be a two-horse race for the title.

Steve McSherry, Uddingston, said: "After watching Celtic destroy Motherwell on Saturday, I am convinced that nine-in-a-row is in the bag.

"With Aberdeen and Hibs both losing Celtic should romp the Premiership especially as we have the best players in the league."

Gordon Ashley, Ary, said: "Rangers fans need to open their eyes as Hibs dominated from when they scored until they went down to ten men.

"As for having better players, Celtic have about seven players valued at £15m plus while Rangers can't attract a bid of £5m for their best player."

On the contrary Alex Russell, emailed to say: "Man for man Rangers are better than Celtic this season and that's a fact.

"The title will be Ibrox bound."

Meanwhile Aberdeen fan William Hutchison from the Granite City was having none of the early title chat William said: "When are fans going to learn that disrespecting the other clubs will only fire other teams up to prove them wrong?

"Already there is talk of a huge gap from Celtic, Rangers and the rest of the teams.

"Wake up as it has only been two games into season the gap is only two points between third and the top two teams.

"That is not a huge gulf!"

Stephen Johnstone, Ardentinny, said: "I think Derek McInnes could be the first Premiership managerial casualty of the season.

"Losing to St Mirren is criminal and the Dons will also get papped out of Europe on Thursday.

"When that happens McInnes jacket will be on a shoogly peg."

I couldn't disagree more Stephen, Del and the Dons will come good like they always do.

Andrew Lamb, Fraserburgh, isn't buying the Scott Allan hype either.

Andrew said: "It is much ado about nothing surrounding Allan's precise pass against Rangers.

"The reality is that Allan had a great opportunity at both Celtic and Rotherham and took neither.

"He no doubt raises his game against Rangers but Hibs is his level. "
