Rangers midfielder Joey Barton got apology from Kilmarnock's Greg Taylor jokes Gary Dicker

Kilmarnock captain Gary Dicker recalled the night that Greg Taylor was sent off for a wild tackle on Joey Barton - but has joked about the full story.

Dicker laughed as he spoke of the tackle, and jested that the Killie left-back went round to Rangers' dressing to APOLOGISE to Gers midfielder at the time Barton.

Taylor was given his marching orders for the tackle back in August 2016.

When asked if it was Taylor who kicked Barton in the air on BBC Sportsound, Dicker joked: "Yeah, well he tried to.

"He got a red card for that, but there's one thing he didn't tell everyone.

"He ran down to the dressing room to apologise to him!"
