Rangers linked with former Kilmarnock striker Josh Magennis

Former Kilmarnock striker Josh Magennis is in talks with Rangers according to a Northern Irish newspaper.

The Belfast Telegraph claim that discussions are ongoing with the former Aberdeen and St Mirren hitman.

He helped Killie to safety in 2016 as he played a pivotal part in their 4-1 aggregate relegation play-off win against Falkirk.

He moved to Charlton after two years at Killie before moving to Bolton last year.

He scored the winner against Estonia as Northern Ireland battled back from 1-0 down, and he is facing a tough decision over his future after Bolton were plunged into financial difficulties and entered administration.

He would link up with Northern Irish teammates Steven Davis, Jordan Jones and Kyle Lafferty.
