Rangers-linked Vaclav Hladky bids St Mirren emotional farewell with video set to James Blunt ballad

Rangers-linked Vaclav Hladky has posted an emotional farewell video to St Mirren fans set to a classic James Blunt ballad.

The 29-year-old 'keeper shared a montage of some of his finest moments at the club, while Goodbye My Lover plays in the background.

In the video, Hladky says: "Hello guys, you probably know what I want to say. Today my contract has expired and I would like to say goodbye to all of you.

"I already got a lot of nice messages from you, which makes me so happy, and I appreciate it a lot. It was such a great time, the last 18 months, and I've been enjoying very single moment on the pitch, and out of the pitch as well.

"I'll never forget the brilliant people who work for St Mirren, and brilliant supporters as well.

"So guys, thank you for everything. I wish you great moments for the future. It was my pleasure to be part of this great club."

Hladky signed for St Mirren 18 months ago and has impressed during his time in Scottish football.

Not only has he been liked with a move to Ibrox, he's also reportedly been attracting attention from England and the MLS.

Do you think Rangers should make a move for the 'keeper? Here we take a look why he might be the obvious solution to their impending goalkeeping dilemma.
