Rangers lineup vs Lech Poznan revealed as Nathan Patterson handed first Europa League start

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has named his starting XI to face Lech Poznan in the final Europa League game of 2020.

The Ibrox men are already in the hat for the last 32 but can go one step better and top their Europa League group with a win in Poland tonight.

Steven Gerrard had hinted that he would make some changes and he has done just that with a number of changes to the starting lineup in Poland from Sunday's win over Ross County.

That includes a start for Nathan Patterson who comes in place of captain James Tavernier, who gets a well deserved rest by taking a place on the bench.

Ianis Hagi does come in for a rare start, having spent most of the last couple of months being used as substitute for Rangers.

Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent are both rested so that means the rest of the front three is Cedric Itten and Joe Aribo.

Further back, Jon McLaughlin starts in goals while Nathan Patters is joined by Connor Goldson, Leon Balogun and the returning Borna Barisic in defence.

The midfield sees a start for Bongani Zungu alongside Scott Arfield and Glen Kamara.

Ryan Jack and Filip Helander aren't involved with the game coming too soon but there's places on the bench for youngsters Ciaran Dickson, Jamie Barjonas and Brian Kinnear.

Full team: McLaughlin, Patterson, Goldson, Balogun, Barisic, Zungu, Arfield, Kamara, Hagi, Itten, Aribo

Subs: McGregor, Kinnear, Tavernier, Bassey, Kent, Morelos, Barker, Stewart, Barjonas, Dickson
