Rangers lineup v Benfica confirmed as Steven Gerrard makes two changes with midfield duo coming in

Steven Gerrard has made two changes to his Rangers side for tonight's Europa League clash with Benfica.

Cedric Itten and Scott Arfield drop out with Steven Davis and Glen Kamara coming into the side.

Allan McGregor starts in goal with a back four of James Tavernier, Connor Goldson, Filip Helander and Borna Barisic.

Kamara, Ryan Jack and Davis start in midfield, with Joe Aribo and Ryan Kent supporting Alfredo Morelos.

Rangers XI: McGregor, Tavernier, Goldson, Helander, Barisic, Jack, Davis, Kamara, Aribo, Kent, Morelos.

Subs: McLaughlin, Bassey, Hagi, Itten, Patterson, Barker, Stewart, Roofe, Balogun, Barjonas, Arfield, Dickson.

Both teams come into the match with 100 per cent records in Group D, with six points from two matches.

Rangers have been mighty impressive in Europe ever since Gerrard arrived at the club in 2018.

However they'll need to halt some record-breaking Benfica home form if they are to get victory tonight. The Lisbon side haven't lost a Europa League match at the Estadio da Luz in 23 matches.

Kick-off at Estadio da Luz is at 5.55pm. We'll have all the post-match reaction covered right here on Glasgow Live.
