Rangers line-up vs Benfica revealed as Joe Aribo misses out for Steven Gerrard's men

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has named his team to face Benfica in the Europa League.

The Ibrox boss is looking to edge closer to Europa League last 32 qualification with a win and has gone for a very familiar team.

Ryan Jack misses out through injury and is replaced in the middle of the park by Steven Davis who returns to the starting lineup.

There's also places in the first eleven for Leon Balogunand Alfredo Morelos, who holds on to the main striker's jersey.

It's the usual goalkeeper and defence as Allan McGregor starts between the sticks, with captain James Tavernier, Connor Goldson, Leon Balogun and Borna Barisic across the backline.

Kemar Roofe starts but there's a blow as Joe Aribo misses out completely for Rangers.

It's a strong subs bench too, with the likes of Cedric Itten, Filip Helander, Calvin Bassey and Ianis Hagi all included for Gerrard's men.

Full lineup: McGregor, Tavernier, Goldson, Balogun, Barisic, Davis, Kamara, Arfield, Roofe, Morelos, Kent

Subs: McLaughlin, Bassey, Helander, Hagi, Itten, Barker, Stewart, Barjonas, Dickson, King
