Rangers line-up revealed as Steven Gerrard makes big Alfredo Morelos call

Steven Gerrard has named his Rangers team to face Aberdeen today.

And there's a recall for Alfredo Morelos as the main striker for the team to take on the Dons at Pittodrie.

The Colombian was on the bench for the 8-0 win over Hamilton Accies before the international break and didn't play in the latter of Colombia's two defeats.

He's joined in the frontline by Ryan Kent and Kemar Roofe as Rangers show their confidence with such an attacking lineup.

There's no place in the starting XI for Steven Davis though, with the midfield made up of Joe Aribo, Ryan Jack and Scott Arfield.

It's the usual goalkeeper and defence as Allan McGregor starts between the sticks, with captain James Tavernier, Connor Goldson, Leon and Borna Barisic across the backline.

It's a strong subs bench too, with the likes of Davis, Filip Helander, Cedric Itten, Jermain Defoe and Ianis Hagi all included for Gerrard's men.

FULL XI: McGregor, Tavernier, Goldson, Balogun, Barisic, Jack, Aribo, Arfield, Roofe, Morelos, Kent

Subs: McLaughlin, Helander, Bassey, Davis, Kamara, Itten, Defoe, Hagi, Barker
