Rangers legend Lorenzo Amoruso among stars flogging personalised video messages from £20

A galaxy of Scottish stars - including Rangers legend Lorenzo Amoruso - are now flogging personalised video messages to fans for cash.

The former Gers star is selling messages for just £20 a pop on a dedicated website called Memmo.

In a promotional video, the Italian ex defender says he will “do anything you like” for money and will then donate the cash to charity.

Dr Who’s Sylvester McCoy and Outlander and Hobbit actor Graham McTavish also feature on the site. McCoy charges £75 a time to wish punters Happy Birthday or ‘get well soon’ while McTavish - who appeared in The Hobbit, Outlander and Lucifer - is the priciest of the three stars at £120 per message.

Tiger King star Carole Baskin can also be booked for an eye watering £400 a message.

In a video message on the website, Amoruso said: “Hi there, hello everyone, its Lorenzo Amoruso here. From today you can see me on the site Memmo where I can wish you happy birthday or happy anniversary or even the beginning of new start up for your job, for your life, for your friends, for your family, anything you like.

“Everything will have a little cost which I will donate to charity. So please, if you want some video about me, just contact the site and I will do anything you like. Ciao.”

Prolific actor Sylvester McCoy - who played Doctor Who and appeared in The Bill, Casualty, Rab C Nesbitt and Still Game - also recorded a promotional video.

Former Dr Who star Sylvester McCoy also features on the website (Memmo)

In a rhyme, he said: “Hello, will you give me a mo, through this video, to tell you something that I think you should know - and that is Memmo. So send me a message for someone you know and I will send them a big hello, or happy birthday or congratulations or enjoy where you go.”

Former footballer Matt Le Tissier is also selling personalised video messages on the site for just £25 after his Sky Sports sacking.

Ex-England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson and iconic Three Lions and Liverpool striker Emile Heskey are also on the new site.

Actor Graham McTavish will send a video for £120 (Memmo)

Former Soccer Saturday panelist Le Tissier was given the boot by Sky in August along with fellow veterans Charlie Nicholas and Phil Thompson. A marketing video on the website sees Le Tissier addressing potential customers.

The 51-year-old looks directly down the camera and says: “Hi I’m Matt Le Tissier, former Southampton and England professional footballer and Sky Sports football analyst for 15 years.

“And I’m now available for personalised video messages on Memmo.” The site urges fans to: “Order a personalised video from Matt today - for any occasion!”

Messages from ex-Three Lions boss Eriksson or legendary striker Heskey are also available for £50 each.

Liverpool icons Roy Evans and Bruce Grobbelaar can provide videos for £20 and £50 respectively.

While Dean Windass and Mark Lawrenson are also on offer for £35 and £20. Former Reds defenders Neil ‘Razor’ Ruddock and John Arne Riise are also listed on the site for £20 and £50.

Gustav Lundberg Toresson and Tobias Bengtsdahl launched the Swedish platform Memmo last year. Stockholm-based Memmo reportedly keeps 25 percent of the booking fees while the rest ends up in the celebrities’ pockets.
