Rangers legend Gazza proud of son Regan after he goes public about being bisexual

has no problem with his son Regan's sexuality.

The 23-year-old told Lorraine Kelly this morning that his football legend dad is proud of him "no matter what".

Speaking on the ITV show, the professional dancer said he apologised to for not having "the chat" with him before discussing is bisexuality in an interview with the Daily Mirror .

Regan, who lived in Renfrewshire as a baby with his family, including mum Sheryl and half siblings Bianca and Mason, during Gazza's playing days with Rangers, said: "He was ok with it. He said he'd love me no matter what and he's proud of my decisions."

The 23-year-old has never felt the need to come out, explaining it's perfectly normal for people to have different sexualities.

In his Mirror interview at the weekend, the performer said: "I'm bisexual, I date men and women. I'm really open about that. I haven't had a lot of relationships though.

"I've only dated three people. I haven't told my dad but I don't think he will mind - but obviously he'll know now. He is proud of me whatever I do and whatever decisions I make."

Regan recalled his dad couldn't understand why he wasn't thrilled why preferred ballet shoes to football boots as a child.

But he insisted Gazza has always backed his choice of career, that has earned him roles in the English National Ballet among others.
