Rangers legend Barry Ferguson to battle with Auchinleck Talbot in Scottish Cup

Auchinleck Talbot have been drawn away to Kelty Hearts in the senior Scottish Cup - a side managed by Rangers legend Barry Ferguson.

Tommy Sloan's side will head to Fife in the first-round proper as they look to build on their incredible run in the competition last season.

Talbot famously defeated Ayr United 1-0 at Beechwood Park last season in the fourth-round thanks to a Craig McCracken header.

They were then defeated 4-0 at the hands of Hearts at Tynecastle.

But it won't be easy for them advancing this year, as Ferguson's Kelty side are investing heavily in their fight to win the Lowland League and become an SPFL side.

The tie will take place at New Central Park on Saturday, September 21 with a 3pm kick-off.
