Rangers legend Ally McCoist was compared to James Bond, or something out of Baywatch, by fans as he ran topless into the freezing water from a beach.
And Super Ally's fans asked if Pamela Anderson was waiting for him as they reckoned he did his best Baywatch impression on the beach which some fans thought was in Montrose.
Ally, 58, who proved a hit with punters with his lively commentary during the Euro 2020 matches, showed off his chest in his blue swimming trunks as he attempted some cold water swimming.
He told fans: "Diving into the new football season like …"
The former footballer turned pundit could be seen running then diving into the water and let out a high pitched squeal.
Fans were impressed and complimented the ex striker on his form - although some reckoned he might have got a penalty for his diving.
A couple said: "Ally haselhoff mc coist ...... just need Emma Pamela Anderson Dodds to make the team.
"Like a scene from Baywatch."
Others questioned: "Is that Super or 007? Could ally be the next bond?"
And someone else chirped: "Daniel Craig checking over his shoulder..."
After hearing Ally squeal another laughed: "As Billy Connolly used to say ‘awa in ya big Jessie'."
And another joked: "Bobby Madden would've gave a penalty for that dive Coisty #PenaltyToRangers."
