Rangers learn Champions League play-off opponent after Servette victory

Rangers will take on PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League play-off round after they defeated Servette on aggregate this evening.

Rangers progressed into the play-off after a 1-1 draw with Servette in Geneva, meaning a 3-2 victory for the Ibrox side over the two legs.

After progressing from the third qualifying round, Michael Beale's side now face a two-legged shootout for a spot amongst Europe's elite in the group stages of the tournament.

PSV Eindhoven sealed their sport in the play-off with a comfortable victory over Sturm Graz. The Dutch club took a 3-1 win in the second leg, meaning a 7-2 aggregate scoreline.

The play-off first-leg will be at Ibrox and is scheduled to take place on the midweek of August 22/23, with the return leg due to be played a week later on August 29/30.
