Rangers kitmakers Castore in cheeky 'Can you see us now?' quip at Celtic fans as billboards appear around Glasgow

Rangers have been hailed as 'undisputed kings of Glasgow' in a series of billboards which have appeared around the city.

The club's kit makers Castore have been celebrating the title triumph by splashing out their own tribute to Scotland's new champions.

Gers fans spotted the giant signs at key Glasgow locations this morning and the signs include a cheeky dig at Celtic with a "can you see us now?" jibe.

Castore say they put up the billboards in a bid to pay tribute to the 'part they have played' in Rangers success.

One of the displays reads: "Undisputed kings of Glasgow. Can you see us now? #BetterNeverStops".

It refers to a common refrain from Celtic fans that they "couldn't see the Rangers coming", and the phrase was flown from a banner as the Parkhead club drew with Dundee United to officially hand their rivals the title.

Co-founder Tom Beahon said: "At Castore we're proud to partner with a huge club such as Rangers.

"These billboards allow us to demonstrate the pride we feel in playing our part in the team’s success, whilst introducing a little terrace spirit at the same time."

Sports firm Castore sponsor Andy Murray and the tennis legend is also a shareholder.

Last May Rangers announced a five-year kit deal worth £20million with Castore after cutting ties with Mike Ashley.

Gers recently spent £250,000 renovating their Ibrox megastore and earlier this month Castore launched a special edition home shirt to mark Rangers' title success.

The royal blue jersey features a unique golden Rangers badge with the words "CHAMPIONS 55 2020/21" emblazoned across the middle.

Steven Gerrard's side will wear the commemorative kit when they get their hands on the Scottish Premiership trophy on the final day of the season.
