Rangers talent Josh McPake is awaiting the results of an ankle scan after picking up an injury while on loan at Morecambe.
The Coatbridge star joined the English League One side in the summer transfer window, having signed a two-year extension with Steven Gerrard's team prior to the loan move.
McPake has made one senior appearance for Rangers. Last season was spent on loan at Greenock Morton and Harrogate Town, while he has also featured for Dundee.
McPake has appeared seven times under former Motherwell manager and current Morecambe boss Stephen Robinson since his most recent loan exit from Rangers.

He was due to play in Morecambe's Papa John’s Trophy match at Hartlepool United last week but Robinson says the Coatbridge winger wasn't fit to play.
“Josh was due to play on Tuesday night,” the former Motherwell boss explained to The Visitor.
“He twisted his ankle in training, so he will have a scan and then we will have a better idea.”
