Rangers kid Josh McPake looks set to seal a loan move to Tranmere Rovers this week.
The Coatbridge 20-year-old is set to undertake a medical and finalise details, having recently returned to Rangers following a similar spell at Morecambe.
A number of clubs have been interested in McPake, but ex-Dundee United boss Micky Mellon looks like he's persuaded the winger to move to Prenton Park.
Injury has stopped McPake from getting much game-time at Morecambe, and the Ibrox club are keen to get him playing regular football.
McPake had a successful loan spell at Harrogate last season and helped them to win the English Football League trophy.
