Rangers 'in talks with' Amiens over midfielder Bongani Zungu

Rangers are reportedly in talks with South African midfielder Bongani Zungu.

The 27-year-old has won 29 caps for his country, and has made 44 appearances for Amiens since joining from Vitória de Guimarães.

According to journalist Joe Crann, talks have begun between Amiens and the Ibrox club.

He says that manager Steven Gerrard wants Zungu as part of his side for the 2020/21 Premiership season, and claims that the Ligue 1 side would probably sell the player for between £3.6m and £4.5m.

Rangers, meanwhile, have today unveiled their new home kit.

In a dramatic video, a voiceover exclaimed: "The best deserve the best" as Jermain Defoe, Ianis Hagi and captain James Tavernier were shown wearing the new Castore kit.

Speaking on the official club website, Rangers' Commercial and Marketing Director James Bisgrove said: "This is the first of many exciting and bespoke Rangers products that have been developed together with Castore for Rangers supporters across the globe.’’

"The product development process with Castore is continuing every day with a number of further exciting products in the pipeline for next season."
