New Rangers home kit 'leaked' as James Tavernier image appears to show golden touch

A leaked photo has surfaced online that appears to show the new Rangers home kit for 2021-22.

Fans have been clamouring for Castore's second offering after their debut range last term was well received.

The Liverpool designers were a surprise choice to take over as the club's official kit supplier last year after a deal with Hummel was cut short.

But their range of apparel to go with home, away and third kit choices have been a hit with the Ibrox support despite some early teething issues.

Of course, it helps when a kit can be fondly remembered as part of a title success and Steven Gerrard's side duly delivered on that front with an unbeaten Premiership title.

No official announcement has been made on the new kit as of yet but supporters are desperate to see what they'll be wearing for the return of fans next campaign.

And now an image has surfaced that seems to show James Tavernier modelling the latest effort, in what appears to be future advertising material.

The strip seems to confirm fan rumours that suggested a golden trim would be a prominent feature, given the club had already unveiled a special gold crest for their 150th anniversary season.

The Rangers badge and logos of Castore and shirt sponsor 32Red are also finished in gold with white banding around the sleeves and a white v-neck collar.
