Rangers hold talks with UK Government over Seville issues as they provide latest update to fans

Rangers have held talks with the UK government as they provided their latest update over issues faced by fans in Seville.

We told yesterday how the Light Blues are continuing to work with Frankfurt and Football Supporters Europe to get answers over the situations experienced pre and post match in the Spanish city.

Fans were left without water and food at the Europa League final while many complaints were made about policing procedures outside the ground.

Now, the Ibrox side have released a further update to supporters to say they have met with the government for talks.

Rangers have expressed their gratitude and say they will continue to look for answers on behalf of their fanbase.

A short club statement read: "This morning, representatives from Rangers met with Her Majesty’s Government to discuss the issues faced by our support in Seville before, during and after the Europa League Final.

"We are grateful for this engagement and will continue to lobby on behalf of our supporters."
