Rangers hit with SFA fine after Hibs and Celtic flashpoints

Rangers have been hit with a £15,000 fine by the SFA for failing to control their players in games against Hibs and Celtic.

The clash at Easter Road saw technical Tom Culshaw sent off after a touchline altercation on the sideline following a tackle on Rangers left-back Borna Barisic.

Culshaw was given a two-game ban, with one suspended, and was not allowed to take his place on the bench for the draw with Hamilton.

The Ibrox club was also hit with a charge following the win over Celtic on December 29, with both falling under disciplinary rule 204.

The rule states that a club must ensure that all players and staff "conduct themselves in an orderly fashion at all times during and/or after a match".

For the incident at Hibs a fine of £5,000 was imposed with £3000 immediate and £2000 suspended until the end of the season.

The Celtic charge brought a £10,000 fine, with £7000 immediate and £3000 suspended.
