Rangers have been hit with a double SFA charge over incidents during wins over Celtic and Hibs.
The Ibrox club have been cited regarding "players and staff failing to conduct themselves in an orderly fashion" during both games.
Coaches Michael Beale and Tom Culshaw could be handed individual suspensions relating to misconduct.
Beale was sent to the stands during the 2-1 victory at Parkhead, as was Culshaw in their earlier fixture at Easter Road.
Hibs have been cited under the same charge, with coach John Potter also charged individually with misconduct.
Rangers could be issued a fine ranging from £2,500 to £20,000.
Hearings for each of the charges against Rangers and Hibs, plus their members of staff, are all set to take place on February 6.
The charges against Culshaw and Potter followed an angry exchange between both benches in response to a red-card challenge from Hibs' Ryan Porteous on Borna Barisic.
Beale was dismissed in the closing stages of his team's first win at Parkhead in almost 10 years as he reacted to Alfredo Morelos being sent off.
The governing body's rules as relates to the charges state: "All clubs and recognised football bodies shall procure that its officials, team staff, employees and players conduct themselves in an orderly fashion at all times during and/or after a match."
The SFA action follows their revelation that Morelos was booked in the tunnel after the game for an apparent "cut-throat" gesture.
He will, therefore, face no further individual punishment after being sent off in the closing stages of the match.
