Rangers hero names two clubs Alfredo Morelos would fit amid Crystal Palace and Newcastle links

Ronald de Boer believes Crystal Palace would be a good fit for Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos.

The Colombian international has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League ahead of the summer transfer window, with Palace among the clubs named as potential suitors.

Newcastle United have also been linked with the 23-year-old, who has scored 29 goals in 46 appearances so far this season for the Scottish Premiership side.

But with speculation over his future continuing ahead of the summer transfer window, former Rangers star de Boer has given his verdict on Morelos.

Who's played the most Premier League minutes?

And he believes that while he could do well in the Premier League, there are two clubs in particular who he may be best suited to.

“He’s a predator. He has been a great signing for Rangers these last few years," de Boer told talkSPORT.

“I think Leicester City is a team he would do well for. They play decent football and are good with the counter attack.

“Leicester City would not be bad for him.

“Maybe Crystal Palace, although he won’t get so much time with the ball, but he can grind a goal out of nothing, and that is so important for, with respect, smaller clubs.”
