Rangers head for France flight as Steven Gerrard's side unveil new club masks ahead of Veolia Trophy

Rangers stars have arrived at Glasgow Airport to head out to France – complete with club-branded masks.

The Ibrox club are taking all the required precautions ahead of their pre-season friendly clashes against Lyon and Nice this week.

Alfredo Morelos, though, has never been one to just follow fashion. He’s more of a trendsetter.

While the rest of Steven Gerrard ’s squad wore striking blue masks with the club crest emblazoned across them, the Colombia striker seemed to go it alone with a white number.

New signing Calvin Bassey and returning hero Ianis Hagi were also pictured in the blue coverings.

Snaps from the Glasgow Airport tarmac give a sneak peek at club kit provider Castore's upcoming offerings, with the likes of Connor Goldson sporting a white polo shirt and most of the squad wearing an all-black tracksuit.

Rangers will take on Lyon on Thursday night at the club's Groupama Stadium with a 7:45pm kick-off.

They will then face Nice at the same venue on Saturday - that game gets underway at 5:15pm.

The games will be shown live on Premier Sports and Glasgow rivals Celtic will also take on the French pair this week.
